Jeremy Butler

Jeremy Edward Butler (Jerm) age 33, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 21st, 2022 as a result of a car accident.

He was born August 27th, 1988 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Karen (Schenk) Butler and Gene Butler who survives in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. He was preceeded in death by his mother, Karen, his paternal grandparents Betty and Noah Butler, maternal grandfather Harold Schenk, and a brother, Jayson Butler.

He is survived by his father Gene, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, a sister Jessica (John) Vanichek of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Uncle Jeff (Margaret) Butler of Kentucky, Aunt Bev and Uncle Ralph of Ohio. Maternal grandmother Christine Schenk of Upper Sandusky, Ohio

He is survived by wife Marsha, and her children Kimberly (Bryson) Robinson and Danielle (Scotty) Treadway and their children Braylon, Colton, Paislee, and Savannah. But they were currently spearated. He is survived by his girlfriend Christina Cox and her children Jeremiah, Skyler, Douglas and Judie of Indiana.

Jeremy was a 2007 graduate of Fleming County High School. He had a variety of jobs, but most recently had gone into business for himself doing demolition and light construction.

Jeremy enjoyed listening to music, fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, playing in the mud, going to auctions and garage sales, camping, swimming, cooking on the grill, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

He was definitely one of a kind, and there will never be another Jerm.

He leaves behind many friends and family who will greatly miss him.

Calling hours for Jeremy will be held Saturday, January 29th 2022 from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. (with the funeral to immediately follow at 3 p.m.) at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services 11918, KY 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky. Burial will be at Smith-Gilliam Cemetery. Brother Jerry Lavender will officiate.

Pallbearers wil be Josh Lavender, David Carrington, C. J. Butler, Jason Alspach, Jamie Spencer, Dustin Cooper, John Vanichek, and Jessica Vanichek.

Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services is caring for all arrangements for Mr. Jeremy Edward Butler.
