Jessica Leigh Blevins Ervin, 43, of Garrison, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 13, 2025, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 9, 1981, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of Jerry Blevins of Vanceburg and the late Kimberly Doyle Blevins.
Jessica was a loving, giving person. She was member of Bivens Chapel Christian Holiness Church and loved helping with Sunday School, attending church camp, and working with all the youth. She delighted in going to the beach, supporting girls softball, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her father, survivors include her loving husband of 22 years, Jeremy Ervin; one son, Levi Carter Ervin of Garrison; one sister, Ashley (Seth) Folickman of Louisville; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and Robin Ervin; brother-in-law, Jason (Tabithia) Ervin; Pap and Granny, Chester and Hazel Smyke; three nieces, Sierra, Olivia, and Addysen Ervin; and two nephews, Parker and Jett Folickman. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Bivens Chapel Christian Holiness Church at Garrison with Bro. Jesse Morgan and Bro. Ronnie Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Waring Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025, and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Bivens Chapel Christian Holiness Church.
Pallbearers will be Parker Folickman, Seth Folickman, Michael Thoroughman, Jadon Gordon, Logan Boyles, and Kenton Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to a favorite charity.
