Jessie Chris Horsley, 58, of Wallingford, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
He was born September 23, 1966, at Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of Maxine Gilliam Horsley of Hillsboro and the late Howard Horsley.
Jessie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Seal Master with 31 years of service and later spent his time farming and logging. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, listening to gospel and country music, and spending time with his family and animals.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Hilander Horsley; one sister, Barbara Rose Hafer of Hillsboro; and one sister-in-law, Catherine Hilander of Vanceburg. Survivors also include several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Ann Burriss; three brothers, Rocky Dean Horsley, Douglas Marvin Horsley, and Estill Martin Horsley; and two brothers-in-law, David Hilander and Gary Hafer.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, in Esham Cemetery at Vanceburg with Greg Grimes officiating.
