Jewell Walker, 61, of Vanceburg, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born at Cabin Creek on August 22, 1962, a daughter of the late Ottie and Oretha Prather Penrod.
Jewell enjoyed playing card games, such as Rook and spades. She liked playing pool, drawing, and painting. Jewell also delighted in stripping tobacco.
Survivors include a daughter Sierra Cheyenne Walker; two sons, Freddie (Erika) Walker and Charles (Amber Yeager) Walker; two sisters, Mary Jane Malone and Violet Highfield; one brother, Brian Penrod; and two grandsons, Emet Walker and Christopher McKinley Walker. Several nieces and nephews also survive who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Walker Sr.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
