John Raymond Duncan, 78, of Vanceburg, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Hospice of Hope in Maysville.
He was born March 1, 1946, in Fayette County, a son of the late Viola Huffman Duncan.
John proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed watching old TV shows and loved working for the radio station as a DJ.
Survivors include his companion of 19 years, Joyce Curtis; two sons, Eddie Duncan and Brian Duncan; and one grandchild. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Duncan.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. John Byard officiating. Burial will follow in McClurg Cemetery at Concord.
Friends may visit after Noon Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
