John Linzy Kimbler, 80, of Camp Dix, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020, at his home.
He was born October 6, 1940, in Lewis County, a son of Andrew and Mary Perry Kimbler.
John attended Mosby Church and enjoyed working on the farm, repairing lawn mowers and chainsaw,s and spending time with the Buckner family, their children and grandchildren.
John is survived by two brothers, James Fredrick Kimbler and Andrew Jackson Kimbler, both of Vanceburg; his caretakers, Dannie and Helen Buckner, and their children and grandchildren. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Maxine Kilgore Kimbler; one brother, Neddie Kimbler; and five sisters, Sierra Silvey, Lorene Kimbler, Pauline Kimbler, Mary Margret Kimbler and Betty Taylor.
A private visitation and service will be Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix with Bro. Dannie Buckner and Bro. Rick Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Troy Buckner, Jacob Buckner, Dalton Buckner, Selby Buckner, Lonnie Buckner, Franklin Morgan and David Kimbler.
