John McCall, 69, of Vanceburg, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. McCall had worked for Emerson Power Transmission in Maysville and was a member of East Fork Christian Church.
He was born in Maysville on January 9, 1947, the son of the late Hugh James McCall and Opal Davenport McCall.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Juanita Rose Smitson McCall; his son, John D. McCall (Michelle) of Georgetown; his daughter, Lisa Hord (Clinton) of Vanceburg; five grandchildren, Dylan Heath Hord, Jacob Clay Hord, Nicholas Brice Hord, Heather Renee Taylor and John Colton Matthew McCall; one great-grandchild, Reece Taylor and two brothers, Paul McCall of Vanceburg, and Roy McCall of Maysville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death a brother, Bill McCall; three sisters, Mildred Davenport, Virginia McCall and Eula “Tick” Hord; an infant brother; and an infant sister.
Services were at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro. Burial was in East Fork Cemetery.
