John David Roe, 64, of Lambert Branch, Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born on February 25, 1955, in Richland County, Ohio, a son of Lillie Lambert Roe of Vanceburg and the late John Roe.
John enjoyed life and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, John is survived by three sons, James Roe of Vanceburg, Austin Roe of Washington State, and Michael Roe of Portsmouth, Ohio; one brother, Bud Roe (Teresa) of Vanceburg; two sisters, Geneva Rowe (Roger) and Patty Osborne (Danny), of Vanceburg; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Roe Stone.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison with Bro. Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Richardson Cemetery in Lewis County.
Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
