Juanita Smith Prince, 67, of Portsmouth, Ohio, formerly of Vanceburg, passed away Thursday evening, January 17, 2019, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born December 28, 1951, in Greenup County, a daughter of the late Wilson and Frances Stevens Smith.
Juanita is survived by one son, Sidney Prince of Vanceburg; two daughters, Lytina Moore of Lucasville, Ohio, and Catrina Porter of Portsmouth, Ohio; four brothers, David Smith, Bobby Smith, August Smith and Wilson Smith Jr., all of Greenup County; two sisters, Betsy Cory and Leona Xerian, both of Ashland; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Larry Wayne Prince; one daughter, Devennia Prince; three brothers, Woodrow Smith, Donald Smith and Michael Smith; and four sisters, Verdia Prince, Nellie Phillips, Judy Evans and Jennie Groves.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation or service.
