Judy Ann Corns

Judy Ann Doyle Corns, 73, of Pleasureville, peacefully passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born September 6, 1949, in Fleming County, a daughter of the late Sanford and Blanche Hester Doyle.

Judy was a Christian and member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ where she supported many church activities and was proud of her role as choir director. She enjoyed shopping, dining out, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandboys. She was employed by Citizens Deposit Bank for over 20 years, where she was the head teller.

Judy loved to cook and was known for her homemade biscuits and chocolate chip cookies. She loved helping others and would visit those who were sick and would often take food to friends and neighbors.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Bobby Corns; her daughter Melissa (Jack Jr.) Arrasmith of Flemingsburg; her son, Robbie (Amber) Corns of Maysville; her grandboys, Lucas (Brook) Arrasmith of Flemingsburg, and Caleb Corns and Connor Corns of Maysville; her brother, Raymond Doyle of Grayson; and her sisters, Beulah Howell of Flemingsburg and Marcella (Mike) Roberts of Foxport. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends also survive who will mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Stephens and Betty Masters; two brothers, Timmy Doyle and Wendell Doyle; two sisters-in-law, Tammy Doyle and Ruby Doyle; two brothers-in law, Joe Howell and Bill Stephens; and several in-laws, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley Road at Foxport, with Bro. Tom Mitchell, Bro. Arnold Howell, and Bro. Phil Cropper officiating. 

Visitation will be at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg Sunday, August 27 from, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Judy will be laid to rest in Martin Cemetery in Fleming County. 

Pallbearers will be Lucas Arrasmith, Caleb Corns, Connor Corns, Kendall Stephens, Tom Caskey, and Travis Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Roberts, Charlie Cotton and Markey Dillon.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
