Judy C. Horsley, 65, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed peacefully with her family at her side.
She went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 26, 2022, following an extended illness. We know Jesus was waiting with open arms. She was a faithful member of the Sunrush Church of Christ.
Judy was a homemaker who loved spending time with family. Her grandchildren always brightened her day and made her smile. We were truly blessed to have such a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was born July 28, 1957, a daughter of the late Elmer and Louise Kamer Stanley. She married Donald Horsley, the love of her life, June 23, 1973, who survives.
Also surviving are her two daughters, Amy (Ron) Casto and Mindy (Bob) Cowman. She left behind 13 grandchildren, who were her world, McKenzie (Brice) Vickers, Hunter, Gunner, Daisy, and Colt Parker, Caylaa, Ryan, Shay, and Emily Casto, Dylan Hughes, Bobby (Morgan) Cowman, Taylor Cowman, and Emily Cowman; four great-grandchildren, Lorelai Vickers, Easton Hamner, Leyton and Lucie Cowman; her siblings, Gerald (Melanie) Stanley, Paul (Cindy) Stanley, Kenny (Kim) Stanley, Gary (Becky) Stanley, Lisa (Chuck) Bentley, and Christina (Charlie) Montieth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Most of all, she left behind her companion/dog Trooper.
Services were at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Haller Funeral Home and Crematory in Chillicothe, Ohio, with Ron Thomas officiating.
Burial was in Huntington Township Cemetery.
