Kellie Lee Mofford Scott, 45, of Firebrick, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 18, 2017, at her father’s residence in Tollesboro.
She was born June 13, 1972, at Fort Knox, a daughter of the late Gary Eugene and Ruth Medley Mofford.
Kellie was a member of Southern Manor Baptist Church and was a veterinarian technician. She enjoyed playing on the computer and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Kellie is survived by her husband of 15 years, Christopher Scott; one son, Christopher Smedley of Hawaii; three daughters and one son-in-law, Krista Smedley of Morehead, Whitley Smedley of Firebrick, and Ashley and Hagan Scott of Columbia; three grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Jennie Mofford of Dover; and one sister Courtney Fetters of Tollesboro. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, with Bro. Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. Until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
