Kendall Cooper

Kendall Thomas Cooper, 76, of Vanceburg, died February 2, 2016, in Fort Thomas.
He was born July 14, 1939, in Lewis County, to the late Arthur and Georgia Cooper. Mr. Cooper was a farmer who loved his animals and gave candy to everyone.
He is survived by one daughter, Jana Marie (Terry) Newsom of Wallingford; two sons, Michael Allen Cooper of Vanceburg and Shannon (Gina) Cooper of Maysville; two granddaughters, Jana Sue (Colin) Hunt and Savannah Newsom; two great-granddaughters, Ashley Hunt and Alayna Hunt. Mr. Cooper is also survived by six sisters, Mary (Phillip) Phipps of Ludlow, Janice Dials of Hillsboro, Geri Covington of Flemingsburg, Carole (Sam) Smalley of Flemingsburg, Margery (Roy) Ferguson of Georgetown, and Eva (Mike) Lykins of Fayetteville, Ohio; two brothers, Bob (Betty) Cooper of Tollesboro and Dean (Glenda) Cooper of Tollesboro; five special grandchildren, Joey Scott, Chris Scott, Brittany Stamper, William Hutchins, and Hunter Hutchins; and two brothers-in-law, Tracy (Sheila) Cassidy of Vanceburg and Chris Quan of Richmond.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann Cooper, on March 19, 2014; a son, David Lewis Cooper; a daughter, Eva Dawn Cooper; a brother, Carl Cooper; and a sister-in-law, Shawna Quan.
Services for Mr. Cooper were Friday, February 5, 2016, at 12:00 p.m., at Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro with Bro. John Byard officiating. Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Barbour and Son Funeral Home.
