Kenneth Applegate Sr., 74, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Ohio State University.
Kenny was born June 1, 1948, to the late Fred and Mary Applegate.
He enjoyed attending Wrights Chapel, working in his yard, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jackie Applegate; one son, Kenny Jr. (Cindy) Applegate of Black Oak; one grandson, Garrett (Taylor) Applegate; one great-granddaughter (expected June 2023); three brothers, Bobby Applegate of Tollesboro, Stanley (Kellie) Applegate of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Don (Linda) Applegate of Vanceburg; one sister, Eileen Bailey of Richmond; and several other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters; and six brothers.
There will be no services upon Kenny’s request.
