Kenneth Ray McCleese, 84, of South Shore, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born December 11, 1939, at Stricklett, a son of the late George Thomas and Stella Cooper McCleese.
Kenneth enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, mowing grass, watching the birds, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Harriett Pauline McCleese; four daughters, Elaine McCleese of Columbus, Ohio, Juanita Ross of Galena, Ohio, Scheila McCleese of Columbus, Ohio, and Pennie (Brian) Barlow of Lawrenceburg; and four grandchildren, Clay Barlow, Kaleb Barlow, Alex Ross, and Nickolas Ross. Many other friends and neighbors also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Rita McCleese, and two brothers, Vernon McCleese and Ernie Jackson McCleese.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. Jim Potter officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens.
