Laura Beth Thomas is a member of the Lewis County High School Class of 2016 and was the only member of her graduating class to make it through 14 years of school without missing a day.

Superintendent Belinda Forman presented Thomas with a special award for the achievement.

The LCHS Class of 2016 graduated Friday evening at Lewis County Middle School Gymnasium.

Laura Beth’s mother, Sabrina Rigdon Thomas, also had perfect attendance all through school and was recognized on her graduation from Tollesboro High School in 1981.
