LCHS incident under investigation

lewis-county-logoDeputy Gary Sparks is investigating an alleged incident at Lewis County High School in which one student tossed soiled toilet paper into an occupied stall in a school restroom.
Sparks said the incident reportedly happened last week in a restroom at the high school when two students were in adjacent restroom stalls and one student tossed soiled toilet paper into the other occupied stall and it landed on a shoe of the second student.
Sparks said there was no one else in the restroom at the time of the alleged incident and he has been actively investigating the allegation since receiving the report on Monday.

“We take all of these matters seriously,” said LCHS Principal Jack Lykins.  “The safety of our students is most important to us. We have turned over the investigation to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. It is an ongoing investigation.”
Sparks asks anyone having information concerning the alleged incident to contact him at the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
