Leigh Ann Stone Watkins, 53, of Mount Sterling, passed away Sunday evening, February 28, 2016, at Clark County Regional Hospital in Winchester.
She was born July 9, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, a daughter of Delores Dillow Stone of Mansfield, Ohio, and the late Owen Lee Stone.
Leigh Ann attended Christian Assembly of God in Mount Sterling and was a newspaper journalist. She enjoyed shopping, reading, caring for her animals and helping others.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Watkins.
Leigh Ann is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and BJ Risner of Panama City, Florida. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg. Burial will follow in Stone Cemetery at Camp Dix.
Friends may visit from Noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
