Leo Dyer, 59, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018, at his home.
He was born June 19, 1959, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of James Harold and Olive Evelyn Morgan Dyer.
Leo loved spending time with his family and friends.
Leo is survived by one son, Joshua Dyer of New Boston, Ohio; two daughters, Santanna Dyer and Trina Dyer both of New Boston, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, David Dyer of Lucasville, Ohio and Paul Dyer of New Boston, Ohio; and one sister, Charlotte Higgins (Berl) of Lucasville, Ohio. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Wright Dyer; five brothers, Kenneth Dyer, Jerry Dean Dyer, Maurice Dyer, James Dyer and Billy Joe Dyer; and one sister, Shirley Cramer.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison with Sister Wilma Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Waring Cemetery at Garrison.
Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
