Leo Louis “Tiger” Moore, 76 of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at his home.

He was born September 1, 1940, in Lewis County, a son of the late Elmer Moore and Mary Ballard Moore.

Tiger worked as a self-employed logger and enjoyed doing yard work and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Tiger is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve Leo and Abigail Moore of Gilbert, Arizona; two daughters and a son-in-law, Faith and Kenny Ruckel of Vanceburg, and Stacy Rena Moore of Maysville; four grandchildren, Kenny Kegley, Kristin Kegley, Hannah Moore, and Zander Moore; one great-grandson, Grayson Kegley; two stepgrandchildren, Ashley and Tristan; and one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Moore of Vanceburg. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Vickie Sue Pollitt Moore.

At Tiger’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
