Lillie Jane Bloomfield Cooley, 81, of Garrison, passed away Tuesday evening, November 15, 2016, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born March 1, 1935, at Camp Dix, a daughter of the late John and Sara Allen Bloomfield.
Lillie was a member of Evans Chapel Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to church, working in the yard, gardening, being a housewife and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Mike Cooley; and one grandson, Lashane Cooley.
Lillie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Estil Lee Cooley; a son, Ronald Lee Cooley of Garrison; four grandchildren, Larry Cooley, Robert Cooley, Kelly Cooley, and Saprena Cooley; and a sister, Berthy Ruark of Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison with Bro. Ronnie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Dawn Cemetery at Garrison.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016, and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue in Garrison.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
