Linda Highfield

Linda Sue Mason Highfield, 62, of Ewing, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 22, 2021, at her home.

She was born September 12, 1958, in Bracken County, a daughter of Erma Cunningham Mason of Wallingford and the late Clarence William Mason.

Linda was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary in Maysville and a homemaker. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, working in her flowers, sitting on the porch watching birds, taking care of her dog Minnie, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by one daughter, Patricia Gonzalez (Gonzalo Tabora) of Ewing; one brother, Robert Mason of Flemingsburg; three sisters, Carol Ann Workman (Donald) of Ewing, Penny Jo Hord (Dale) of Flemingsburg, and Mary Beth Mason of Goddard; and two grandchildren, David and Jace. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Allen Mason, and one sister, Joyce Marie Mason.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bro. Charlie Hamm officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Fleming County.

Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro.

Pallbearers will be Gonzalo Tabora, Robbie Mason, William Mason, Emanuel Cruz, Donnie Workman, and Josh Mason.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, we ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
