Lisa Dawn Jarrells, 49, of Vanceburg, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Her family was at her side.
Lisa was born at Portsmouth, Ohio, March 27, 1974, a daughter of the late Michael and Marlene Sue Hobbs Williamson.
She was a pharmacy tech and cook for Osman Pharmacy in Vanceburg. She loved going shopping with her nieces and giving her time to the community and schools, especially during the holidays. Lisa was of the Christian faith and was a 1992 graduate of Lewis County High School.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Charles “Jinx” Jarrells; one son, Kaleb Jarrells; a stepdaughter, Amanda Bear of Lexington; a stepson, Matt Jarrells of Maysville; and two sisters, Tonia (Wayne) Hughes of Vanceburg and Sherrie Williamson (Chris Cooley) of Tollesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Stone in 2009, and a nephew, Lucas Williamson.
A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg, with Leslie Collier officiating.
Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Gaydos Funeral Home.
