A Lewis County man has died as the result of a logging accident in Greenup County.
Albert Lane Clark, 47, of Garrison, was reportedly working in the Beechy Creek area of Greenup County at about 3:50 p.m. Friday when a tree that was being felled struck him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Greenup County deputy coroner. Also responding to the scene were members of Maloneton Volunteer Fire Department.
Services for Mr. Clark will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Clark, and three sons.
