Lonnie Edward Frye, 66, of Tollesboro, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at his home.
Mr. Frye was born June 9, 1949, in Lewis County, to Mary Louise Highfield Frye of Tollesboro, and the late James Edward Frye.
He was a carpet installer.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 47 years, Dorothy Kay Fite Frye; his children, James Richard (Kristen) Frye and Sharon Hamilton, both of Tollesboro; a brother, John (Wilda) Frye of Maysville; six grandchildren, AJ Hamilton, Ashley Frye, Emily Frye, Erica Frye, Matthew Hamilton and Jacob Hamilton; his close friend, Tommy Riggs; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 8, 2016, at Brell and Son Funeral Home in Maysville.
Burial will be in Charter Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dale Osborne, David Dean Applegate, Bobby Joe Doyle, Michael Kielman, Joey Marshall, and Ernie Blythe.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
