Lorena Mae Sexton

Lorena Mae Carver Sexton, 83, of Tollesboro, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 17, 1937, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Albert and Marie Latham Carver.

Lorena was a member of Canaan Holiness Church and worked as a bus driver, school cook, secretary of R&S Salvage, and was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

Lorena is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard Hinton “Tiny” Sexton; two daughters, Debbie Williams (Jim Bob) and Shawna Marie Sexton Voiers (Marty), all of Tollesboro; four grandchildren, Tara Fry, Bobbie Noland, Caleb Sexton Voiers, and Magdelene Mae Voiers; two great-grandchildren, Betsy Noland and Evee Noland; and four sisters, Brenda Bloomfield of Quincy, Carolyn McIntosh of Tollesboro, Pauline Barbee of Washington, and Janet Morris of Maysville. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Bonnie Marie Noland; one brother, Roy Carver; and two sisters, Wanda Nickerson and Margaret Flack.

Services will be at Noon Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Tollesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Olivet Cemetery in Mason County.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until Noon Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Tollesboro Funeral Home, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro.

Pallbearers will be Marty Voiers, Sidney Bloomfield, Rick Morris, Tim Lawson, Johnny Kilgore, and Caleb Sexton Voiers.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, we ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
