Louanna “Tootsie” Bryant White, 92, of Tollesboro, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, at her home.
She was born July 16, 1927, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Edward Morton and Stella Lee Thomas Bryant.
Louanna attended Crosspointe Church in Tollesboro and enjoyed working puzzles, watching UK Basketball, sitting on the porch and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Louanna is survived by one son, Rex White of Tollesboro; one daughter, Sandra Lanthorn (Rick) of Tollesboro; five grandchildren, Amy Miller (Robb), Ashley Allison (Billy), Chelsi Foreman (Calin), Alan White (Natosha) and Erika Ford (Casey); nine great-grandchildren, Chloe White, Carter Story, Mason Foreman, Beckett White, Gentry White, Ada-Layne Allison, Ryan Ford, Maddie Ford and Mikayla Ford; one daughter-in-law, Karen White of Tollesboro; and one sister-in-law, Leanne Bryant of Vanceburg. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Willard Edward White; one son, Terry White; two brothers, Harold Skip Bryant and Dewey Bryant; and five sisters, Avil Frazier, Matilda “Tee” Harrison, Betty Jo Rayburn, Helena Bryant, and Maxine Bryant.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Bro. Dan Frederick and Bro. Phil Cropper officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Fleming County.
Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro.
Pallbearers will be Alan White, Billy Allison, Robb Miller, Carter Story, Calin Foreman and Todd Wilson.
