Louella “Blue” (Click) Ash passed away peacefully Monday, March 10, 2025, at home surrounded by family.
Blue was born December 1, 1934 – but don’t tell her I told you the year – at Thor to William Harmon and Inez Opal (Stone) Click, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by infant daughter, Patricia Dawn; daughter, Marcia Metzger; son-in-law, Rick Hall; grandsons, Robert “Bob” and Donald “Donny” Lewis; and great-grandson Scotty Ray Lewis; along with brothers, Arnold Dean, Bill, Charles Jesse “Buffy”, Gene and Sid Click, and sisters, Fern Honaker and Rosa Olive “Tody” Dyer.
She is survived by siblings Kathy (Birdie) Stamper, Donna Stamper, Sue (George Butler) Click, Tami Nolan, Criss Bloomfield, and Greg Click; her son, Danny (Virginia) Ash; daughter, Toni Hall; son-in-law, Dean Metzger; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Blue loved listening to Waylon Jennings, camping up in “Blue’s Holler” which is on her family’s home place, and attending family reunions and gatherings. She retired from General Electric in Bucyrus in 1997, after 40+ years of service. In her post-retirement years, she took many trips with her sisters and daughter. She enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies, Murder She Wrote, Midsummer Murders, and the evening news.
Above all else, she loved watching all her grandchildren grow and thrive, even the “blips.”
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home in Bucyrus, Ohio. A graveside service will be in Morgan Cemetery at Head of Grassy on Saturday following visitation at Globe Funeral Home at Camp Dix from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the donor’s choice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
