Louise Miracle, 86, of Vanceburg passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Golden Living Center.
Louise was bornĀ in Lewis County August 25, 1929, to the late Russell and Maggie Ginn Bivens. Louise was a farmer and a homemaker. She loved to garden and mow the yard. She was of the Christian faith, loved cooking and spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren.
Surviving are one son, Greg Miracle of Vanceburg; two sisters, her twin Lucille Hickle of Vanceburg and Ann Bivens of Beuna Vista, Ohio; three granddaughters, Tammy Miracle and her companion, Eric Barker, ofĀ Morehead, Tonya Ballard of Flemingsburg, and Sonia Ballard of Dayton, Ohio; two grandsons, James (Ashley) Ballard of Flemingsburg, and James Ballard; and six great-grandsons.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were her husband, Samuel C. Miracle in 1995; two sons, James Everett Ballard and Tip Ballard; one sister, Peggy āJaneā Piatt; two brothers, Dick Bivens and Jr. Bivens; and great-grandson, Colton Clark.
Services were Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Rev. Arthur Moore Officiating. Burial was in McEldowney Cemetery at Stricklett.
