Lovell Cropper

Lovell Dean Cropper, 82, of Tollesboro, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Hospice of Hope Care Center.

He was born in Lewis County on March 1, 1941, a son of the late Dudley and Prudie Bare Cropper.

Mr. Cropper worked at Mike Sapp Electric and Rick Huber Construction before becoming a self-employed electrician and carpenter.

He was a member of Pine Valley Christian Church, a member of the NRA, and was an avid gun enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Doyle Cropper; two sons, Kevin Cropper and Greg Cropper of Tollesboro; six grandchildren, Samantha Dawn Buris, KC Ray Cropper, Cody Cropper, Lovena Cropper, Lindsey Cropper, and Raven Cropper; and six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Madison, Delaney, Odin, Khaleesi, and Daenerys.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Services will be at Pine Valley Christian Church at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, with Pastor Phil Cropper officiating.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.

Arrangements are entrusted to Knox and Brothers Funeral Home in Maysville.
