Lucy Fuentes Garcia, 50, of Vanceburg, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born June 24, 1967, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of the late Josephine Fuentes.
Lucy was a member of the Old Path Pentecostal Holiness Church and she enjoyed going to church, fellowshipping with her church family, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Lucy is survived by her husband of 29 years, John Garcia; one son, John Rivera Garcia of Vanceburg; one daughter, Crystal Ann Josephine Garcia of Maysville; and two grandchildren, Landon Dakota May and Gabriel Alexander May. She also leaves many other church, family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carlos Fuentes.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at the Old Path Pentecostal Holiness Church, 600 Salem Road in Grayson, with Bro. Daniel Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Bentley Cemetery in Carter County.
Friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg is taking care of all arrangements.
