Lynn Lykins

Vivian “Lynn” Hampton Lykins, 63, of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at her home.

She was born in Mason County on September 17, 1959, a daughter of the late Charles and Lottie Gulley Hampton.

Lynn was a member of Union Baptist Church. She loved going to church and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, James “Dusty” Lykins; one brother Dean (Lisa) Hampton of Maysville; and two sisters, Sue (Corky) Fannin of Camp Dix and Ann (Jeff) Hord of Flemingsburg. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Bradley Lykins; two brothers, Charles Flim “Bo” Hampton and Harry Hampton; and one sister, Joan Pollitt.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Tom Lester and Bro. Joe Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023, and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Dickerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Hord, Brandon Pollitt, Jeremy Hampton, Ronnie Lykins, Randy Lykins, and Josh Heater.
