Magistrates voted in favor of purchasing two new Mack dump trucks and a new tractor truck during a special meeting last week where a bid opening was held.
Worldwide Equipment submitted the lone bid for the trucks that will be utilized by the road department.
A motion to accept the bid was made by Magistrate Steve Applegate and seconded by Magistrate David Iery. All members voted in favor.
The 2017 Mack tri-axle dump trucks will be purchased at a cost of $136,402 each and the 2017 tractor truck (day cab) will be purchased for $117,414.
