Margie Louise Stevens Richmond, 81, of Emerson, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 20, 2016, at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
She was born August 13, 1934, in Olive Hill, a daughter of the late Stearl and Audrey Wilson Stevens Horsley.
Louise was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Glendel Horsley and Vernon Stevens.
Louise is survived by her husband of 60 years, Virgil Edward Richmond; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Barbara Richmond of Emerson; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie Sue and Craig Chinn of Vanceburg; two grandchildren, Sarah Beth Richmond Lewis and Steven Chinn; one great-grandchild, Braxton Cash Lewis; two brothers, Darrell Horsley of Lexington and Ronnie Stevens of Mansfield, Ohio; and five sisters, Betty Lennex of Georgetown, Ohio, Deanna Dyer of South Portsmouth, Fonda Horsley of Louisville, Tina Dunham and Pat Minor, both of Mansfield, Ohio. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix with Bro. Dale Richmond and Bro. Clyde Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery at Head of Grassy.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, and until the service hour on Saturday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 7975 Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix.
Pallbearers will be Criag Chinn, Steven Chinn, Jarrod Lewis, David McRoberts, Danny Stamper, and Tony Richmond. Michael Richmond and Braxton Cash Lewis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
