Marilyn Dawn Cooper Thomas, 58, of Maysville, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.
She was born September 24, 1966, in Mason County, a daughter of Shirley Applegate Cooper of Tollesboro and the late George Junior Cooper.
Marilyn was a member of Manchester Pentecostal Church in Manchester, Ohio. She enjoyed reading, shopping, going out to eat, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, John Forrest Thomas; two sons, Joshua (Andrea) Thomas of Vanceburg and Noah Thomas of Maysville; one sister, Sheryl (Larry) Henry of Maysville; and three grandchildren, Grace Thomas, Sophia Thomas, and Caleb Thomas. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
Services will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Tony Corns officiating. Burial will follow in Happy Hollow Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Keith Cooper, Gary Applegate Jr., Ronnie Applegate, Larry Henry, Ben McCann, and Jason Highfield.
