Dale Rowe, 76, of Garrison, passed away Friday morning, November 15, 2019, at his home.
He was born September 6, 1943, in Lewis County, a son of the late Lillian Ervin-Williamson.
Dale was employed as a Union Carpenter and his hobbies were hunting, fishing and gardening. He was an excellent mechanic and loved collecting 50’s and 60’s automobiles.
Dale is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Bivens Rowe; five children, George Rowe, Debbie Rowe, Lee Rowe, Goldie Rowe and Sandra Rowe all of Vanceburg; two sisters, Kay Dummitt and Karen Sue Douglas, both of Grayson; two brothers, Darrell Rowe of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Michael Clark of Garrison; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He also leaves many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Ruth Clark and Debra Jean Clark.
Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2019, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison.
Interment will be in Waring Cemetery at Garrison.
