Mary Groves Keeton, 83, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born in Tennessee on August 1, 1939, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Reid Groves.
Mary attended the Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed going to church, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Willie Keeton; two sons, Jay (Margaret) Keeton of West Portsmouth, Ohio, and Rodney (Beth) Keeton of Zephyrhills, Florida; four daughters, Brenda (Tim) Pack of Heath, Ohio, Joyce (Dan) Ivins of Grove City, Ohio, Bonnie (Brent) Doroshuck of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada, and Darlene (Joe) Stamper of Garrison; three brothers, Charles Groves of Bucyrus, Ohio, Jerry Groves of Fruitland, Idaho, and and Bob Groves of Bucyrus, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Keeton; a brother, Carl Groves; and a sister, Judy Pasch.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. Scott Adams officiating.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison.
