Matthew Charles Ginn, 45, of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on January 6, 1980, a son of Roger Ginn of Augusta and the late Kathy Lewis Ginn.
He had a passion for the open road and loved racing, riding his motorcycle, and exploring new places. More than anything, he cherished the moments spent with friends and family creating memories filled with laughter, love, and adventure. His vibrant spirit and the joy he brought to those around him will be deeply missed. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children.
In addition to his father, survivors include a daughter, Gemma Ginn of Vanceburg; a son, Carter Ginn of Vanceburg; the mother of his children, Andrea Ginn of Vanceburg; and a brother, Timothy Ginn of Athens, Alabama. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Yuvette Chatman and Matt Cook speaking, and Bro. Bryan Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Esham Cemetery at Petersville.
Friends may visit after Noon Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Dickerson Funeral Home.
Military graveside rites will be accorded by Monte Lewis Stamm VFW Post 5438.
Pallbearers will be Matt Cook, Danny Chatman, Joseph Kiser, Darrell Fannin, Rick Chatman, and Randy Kiser.
Gabe Cook and Ashley Dillion will serve as honorary pallbearers.
