Michael Ray Grigson, 27, of Garrison, passed away Friday morning, June 21, 2019, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He was born on March 7, 1992, in Scioto County, Ohio, a son of Marvin and Patricia Bevens Grigson.
Michael attended Valley Chapel Church and Little Country Church and was a 2011 graduate of Lewis County High School. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, spending time with his puppy, Dexter, and being with his family, especially his mother, whom he considered his best friend.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, whom he adored, Matthew Grigson of Garrison; his maternal grandparents, Amos and Virginia Mosley Bevens of Garrison; and his brother’s girlfriend, Krystin Grant. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alfred and Rosie Sparks Grigson; maternal great-grandparents, Russell and Eva Mosley; and his paternal great-grandparents, Joe and Emma Sparks.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison with Bro. Amos Bevens, Bro. Larry Joe Madden and Bro. Rick Musser officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Dawn Cemetery at Quincy.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019, and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Grigson, Bradley Grigson, Hammer Cooper, Jamie Cooley, Jeff Grigson, Jason Brown, Shaw Grigson, Jessie Bevens and Johnny Bevens.
