Michael Eugene Thomas, 55, of Tollesboro, passed away Monday evening, January 8, 2018, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
He was born April 23, 1962, in Lewis County, a son of Robert Eugene and Anna Brown Thomas, both of Tollesboro.
Michael worked as a truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends, especially with his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his wife of 12 years, Lacey Jane Cassidy Thomas; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Derreck Eugene and Shauna Thomas of Quincy, and Michael Brent Thomas of Tollesboro; one daughter, Abagale Rose Williamson of Tollesboro; three grandchildren, Molli Grace Thomas, Rikki Page Thomas and Yasmine Lightner; and two sisters, Barbara Griffey of Tollesboro, and Jessie Osani of Indiana. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Thomas.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Fleming County.
Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Pallbearers will be Derreck Thomas, Michael Thomas, Chuck DeVaughn, Lonnie Yelley, Dominic Hunt, and Ayden Cooper.
