Mitchell Bloomfield, 80, of Quincy, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville.
Mitchell was born in Lewis County on June 5, 1943, a son of the late Albert and Alma Pruitt Bloomfield.
Survivors include his children, Kevin (Sydonna) Bloomfield of Coweta, Oklahoma, Leann (Ray) Jamison of Chillicothe, Ohio, Curt Bloomfield of Lucasville, Ohio, and Rebecca (David) Krenek of Quincy; two brothers, Homer Bloomfield of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and George Bloomfield of Garrison; two sisters, Phyllis Shively and Avis Bond of Newport; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Edna Carver Bloomfield; two brothers, Charles Bloomfield and Jerry Bloomfield and a sister, Norma Thayer.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2023, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with Bro. Clarence Hall and Bro. Larry Joe Madden officiating. Burial will follow in Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.
