Mrs. Molly Rene’ Logan, age 59, of Tollesboro, Kentucky, passed away Sunday morning, January 24, 2016, at St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Care in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born September 15, 1956, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of William Logan and Colleen Boyd Brewer.
Molly attended the Methodist Church in Vanceburg, Kentucky, and was a previous LPN, caregiver, and hotel manager. She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, taking photos, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by one step grandson, Zachery Stevens.
Molly is survived by her father, William Logan of Minford, Ohio; her mother and stepfather, Colleen and Howard Brewer Jr. of Vanceburg, Kentucky; her husband, Joseph Stevens; one son and daughter-in-law, Ian and Annette Hughes of Greenup, Kentucky; one daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Johnny Evans of Vanceburg, Kentucky; two stepsons and their wives, Joseph Jr. and Patricia Stevens of Vanceburg, Kentucky, and Johnny Lee and Angie Stevens of Columbus, Ohio; one stepdaughter and her husband, Christy and David Howell of Peebles, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Billi Hughes of Arlington, Texas; one half-brother, William Oran Logan of Beaver, Ohio; and two half-sisters, Jennifer Walker of Grandview Heights, Ohio, and Rebecca Howes of Pensacola, Florida. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Kentucky, with Brother Dale Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Waring Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, and until the service hour on Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street, Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
