Norma Ester White Lewis, 81, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 1, 2017, at Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Care Center.

She was born October 22, 1936, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Homer and Doris Fern Kidwell White.

Norma was a Christian and worked at US Shoe for 20 years. She enjoyed watching TV, spending the holidays with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Norma is survived by two sons, Jeff Lewis and Dwight Lewis, both of Vanceburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra Kay Lykins and Leo of Vanceburg; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie White and Peggy and Sam White and Sandy, all of Vanceburg; and six sisters and two brothers-in-law, Delores Grayson of Mansfield, Ohio, Mavis White and Lena Henderson, both of Olive Hill, Alma Richmond and Allen and Rose Marie Williams, all of Vanceburg, and Mary Louise Bentley and Rick of Firebrick. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Charles Lewis; one daughter, Elizabeth McClelland; and one brother, Donald “Sonny” White.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix with Bro. Jerry Bloomfield and Bro. Doug Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Mosby Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017, and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 7975 Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix.

Pallbearers will be Charles Lewis, Adam Lewis, Robert Lykins, Tom Slaughter, Keith McClelland, Josh White, Mike Ginn, and Jonathan Rogers.
