Norma Jean Meadows, 88, of Maysville, passed away Monday June 13, 2016, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.
She was the widow of Harry L. Meadows who died July 6, 1983.
Mrs. Meadows was born in Maysville May 17, 1928. She was a homemaker and was employed by US Shoe in Vanceburg for several years. Norma loved the Lord and going to church to worship Him. She also loved her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Harry (Joyce) Meadows of Foxport, and Gary Wayne (Ruth) Meadows of Wallingford; a daughter, Brenda Carpenter of Maysville; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Botkins Dunaway Madden; her son-in-law, Melvin Carpenter; and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016, at Brell and Son Funeral Home in Maysville.
Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Garden of Memories at Plumville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
