Norma Sartin, 61, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Fleming County Hospital.
She was born September 12, 1961, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Jack and Shirley Mason Sartin.
Norma loved going to church, listening to music, singing, arts, crafts, caring for her dog, Paris, going on trips, shopping, talking on the phone, laughing, and telling stories with her family and friends.
Norma is survived by her longtime friend and companion, Gayle Stratton; two daughters, Peggy Sue of Madison, Indiana, and Crystal Altenhofen of Independence; one grandson, Tyler Hawkins; three uncles, Larry Mason of Marion, Ohio, Marvin Mason of Covington, and Randal Mason of Loveland, Ohio; and an aunt, Wilma Sartin Hoffman of Vanceburg. Many other family members and friends who loved her dearly also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cheryl Rhoden, and her grandparents, Forster and Hannah Sartin, and Ernest and Catherine Mason.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Jacob Sartin officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
