Norma Florence Corns Stamper, 79, of Petersville, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026, at her daughter’s residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 31, 1946, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Norman and Anna Florence Monteith Corns.
Survivors include her loving husband of 14 years, James Samuel Stamper; two daughters, Samantha (Terry) Irwin of Maysville and Anna Evans (Joseph Roberts) of Elsmere; one son, Douglas Evans Jr. of Petersville; three sisters, Shirley Jordan of Portsmouth, Ohio, Joni Corns of Petersville, and Kathy McClurg of Vanceburg; three brothers, Charles (Jenny) Corns, Richard Corns, and Jeffrey (Sue) Corns of Vanceburg; four grandchildren, Veronica Evans, Jonathon Grey, Austin Smith, and Damon Smith; and four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Irwin, Christyan Carroll, Nevah Thomas, and Ethan Thomas. She is also survived by many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Corns and Timothy Corns.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Arnold Howe officiating. Burial will follow in Esham Cemetery.
