Authorities are looking for a state inmate from the Lewis County Detention Center who walked away from a work detail today.
Sheriff Johnny Bivens said the inmate is Shawn Tyler Ogden, 20, of Frankfort.
Bivens said Ogden was working with another class D inmate along Ky. Rt. 344 near Greg Miracle’s residence and failed to return to report to the supervisor.
Bivens said Ogden had asked someone about Flemingsburg this morning but his direction of travel is unknown.
Ogden was convicted in Franklin County of theft by unlawful taking and sentenced to three years in prison.
Bivens said Ogden would have been eligible for parole on November 1.
Ogden is a white male, 6’2″ and about 200 pounds. He has a medium build, strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.
When last seen he was wearing an orange shirt and tan pants.
Anyone with any information on Ogden or his whereabouts should call 911 or the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
