An Ohio man was airlifted following a four-wheeler accident Friday afternoon near Briery Creek Road off Ky. Rt. 377.
Deputy Gary Sparks said he responded to the scene along with Sheriff Johnny Bivens to provide assistance.
Sparks said the four-wheeler was being operated by Brandon Mahaffey of Loveland, Ohio, when the accident happened.
Sparks said Mahaffey suffered facial trauma and a reported collapsed lung.
“Most of his injuries are believed to have been caused by the handle bars of the four-wheeler,” Sparks said.
Sparks said the accident happened in a remote area on private property and the victim was placed in the bed of Bivens’ four-wheel-drive pick-up to get him to the ambulance on Briery Creek Road.
