Pam Wright

Pamela Joy Wright, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Her family was at her side. 

She was born November 30, 1949, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Ernest and Beulah Johnson Lowe.

Pam was of the Baptist faith and was a retired employee of the Lewis County Board of Education.

Left to celebrate her memory are two sons, Lonnie (Mary) Wright Jr. of Wallingford and Bryan (Amy) Wright of Vanceburg; her companion of 16 years, Gary Barton of Maysville; five grandchildren, Lacey (Jarrod) Lykins of Walton, Kelsey Wright of Vanceburg, Jonathan (Hannah) Wright of Lexington, Kelly (Seth) Fogelman of Mayslick, and Seth Wright of Vanceburg; and three great-grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, and special friends also survive who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Lonnie Wright Sr. Also welcoming her to her Heavenly home are two sons, Timothy Wright and Barry Wright.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. Kevin Cornette and Dr. Howard Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Soldier Cemetery at Garrison.

Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Autism Awareness in honor of Pam and Timmy Wright.
