Patty Sue Madden Rhoden, 69, of Garrison, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at her home.
She was born April 25, 1953, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Joseph David and Vinnie Levada Wright Madden.
Patty was a member of South Shore Church of Christ and loved going to church. She enjoyed singing, cooking, playing games with her grandchildren, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Chester David Rhoden; three daughters, Jennifer Toppins, Melissa Sparks, and Rachel (William) Jordan of Garrison; one brother, Luther Madden of South Shore; four sisters, Christine Erwin, Margaret Rhoden, Berta Madden, and Marcella Rhoden of Garrison; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew Madden and Elwood Madden, and three sisters, Margia Madden, Velva Felty, and Janie Layher.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. Steven Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Rhoden Cemetery at Greenup.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison.
